Steven L. Wiser
Steven L. Wiser is a senior litigator and an accomplished intellectual property practitioner. He practices in the area of intellectual property and business litigation. Mr. Wiser brings to the firm’s clients a broad range of legal experience. He is responsible for resolving a variety of business disputes for clients in federal and state courts for claims based on contract, trademark, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, defamation, misappropriation, fiduciary duty, business tort, deceptive trade practices and the fraudulent transfer of assets.
Mr. Wiser is admitted to practice in the States of Illinois and New York. He is admitted to practice before the US District Court of the Northern District of Illinois and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar. Mr. Wiser is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and received his LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the John Marshall Law School. His Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science was received from Loyola University, Chicago.
Mr. Wiser is an adjunct professor of law and the Director of the Trademark Clinic at The John Marshall Law School. He also teaches Copyright Law & Practice and Intellectual Property in International Business Organizations in the LL.M. program. He is a volunteer member of Lawyers for the Creative Arts.
